Iris Elaine Anouchi
The Artist
Iris Elaine Anouchi was an accomplished artist -
a painter, a Persian and Chinese rug weaver
and an exceptional piano player. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, she grew up in everett, Massachusets and For-Wayne, Indiana. She lived in Israel with her husband Avraham and
fell in love with the country. Iris lost her battle
with cancer and is buried in Haifa.

The Anouchi
Scholarships
The Anouchi scholarships provide
tuition assistance for students in academic and scientific institutions in Israel. The Fund was established by her husband in her memory and is managed by the School of Medicine at the Technion Insttute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. Israel.

Avraham.Y.Anouchi
The Author
Avraham Anouchi is an author, engineer, inventor and entrepreneur. He published "the Legacy" memoir in English, the "Igeret Hamassoret" memoir in Hebrew, "The Hidden Scroll" historical novel and numerous articles in English and Hebrew which appeared in literary and technical publications. He is writing a new thriller which will be entitled "Space Mission".
Compeling, vivid and spell-binding are the words used by two professors to describe his writing.

Scholarship NEWS
Avraham Anouchi was invited by the Technion, where he personally presented the annual Anouchi scholarship for the 2012-2013 academivc year. The recipient was Chen Lulu, who is a first year student in the Technion School of Medicne.
During the award ceremony, Avraham met eight students who were previous recipients of the Anouchi awards. In the past two decades, the Avraham and Iris Anouchi fund has granted scholarships every year to the School of Medicine students. |
